Open call and specific calls (via call)

When applying for enrolment and scholarship:

  • CV
       MANDATORY for all applicants.
  • Schedule of outstanding examinations
       MANDATORY if you apply for:
    • 4+4 and are registered for any exams this coming term
      This is also mandatory for Master’s students already enrolled at Aarhus University
    • 5+3 and have not yet passed all the examinations in your master’s degree programme
      This is also mandatory for Master’s students from Aarhus University
  • Diploma and transcripts of records
       MANDATORY for all applicants incl. students from Aarhus University.
       All diplomas/transcripts MUST state the name of education, official duration of the degree programme, courses, marks and (if given) ECTS credits.
      The documents must be uploaded in the original language. If the documents are not in one of the main languages (Danish, English, French, German, Norwegian or Swedish), you must also attach an authorised English translation.

       Your application will be REJECTED if you do not upload documentation for both levels (Bachelor and Master).
    • 4+4
      • Bachelor's degree diploma and transcript/diploma supplement (minumum a 3-year degree).
      • Master's degree
        • Master's degree diploma and transcript/diploma supplement (1-year degree)
        • Master's degree diploma and transcript/diploma supplement (2-year degree that is only equivalent to one year of Master's studies in Denmark).
        • Transcripts of records for one year of Master's studies (ongoing 2-year degree)
          The transcript must contain details of the courses your have passed.
          This also applies to Master's students already enrolled at Aarhus University.
    • 5+3
      • Bachelor's degree diploma and transcript/diploma supplement (minumum a 3-year degree).
      • Master's degree diploma and transcript/diploma supplement (2-year degree).
      • Transcripts of records of your Master's degree if you have not yet received the official diploma and transcript/diploma supplement.
  • Proof of language skills
       MANDATORY for all applicants. See this page.
  • Budget details
       MANDATORY if you write anything else than 0 under “Total budget”. Otherwise, it is not mandatory.
  • Proof of financial support
       MANDATORY if you fill out the box “Indicate sources and amounts of possible financial support, if any”. Otherwise, it is not mandatory.
  • Project description incl. timetable
       MANDATORY for all applicants.
       It is also mandatory to use our form for the timetable. Do not write your own version of the timetable.
  • Consent from referees not employed at Aarhus University
       MANDATORY for all applicants.
       Short prior consent and NOT A RECOMMENDATION although the box is called that.
  • Motivation
       MANDATORY for all applicants.

External funding (via ad hoc link)

When applying for enrolment with external funding or if you pay for the enrolment yourself:

  • CV
       MANDATORY for all applicants.
  • Information sheet for earlier employment
       MANDATORY if you are to be employed at Aarhus University. 
  • Schedule of outstanding examinations
        MANDATORY if you apply for:
    • 4+4 and are registered for any exams this coming term
      This is also mandatory for Master’s students already enrolled at Aarhus University
    • 5+3 and have not yet passed all the examinations in your master’s degree programme
      This is also mandatory for Master’s students from Aarhus University
