Open calls (4+4 and 5+3)

Spring 

Announcement of call:No later than 15 February
Application deadline:15 March at 23:59 Danish time
Assessment period:March - June
Interviews will be conducted in April with selected applicants.
Reply:First assessment (standing expert assessment committee):
- No later than the end of May (if your application is not sent to the second assessment)
Second assessment (Admission Committee):
- No later than the end of June
Enrolment start:1 September

Autumn 

Announcement of call:No later than 1 September
Application deadline:1 October at 23:59 Danish time
Assessment period:October - December
Interviews will be conducted mid-October - mid-November with selected applicants.
Reply:First assessment (standing expert assessment committee):
- No later than the end of November (if your application is not sent to the second assessment)
Second assessment (Admission Committee):
- No later than the end of December

Announcement
The call will be announced on the web one month before the application deadline. The application form will not be available until the calls has been announced.

Application form
The link for the application facility can be found in each call (open call or specific call).

Receipt
You will get a receipt on your screen if your application has been sent successfully. After some time you will also get a receipt via email. If you should not receive this email, please check your spam filter. Some mail programmes consider our mails from the application facility as spam.
Please do not reply to the mail sent from the application facility because these mails will not be read daily.

Interview
During the assessments, the committees may conduct interviews with selected applicants. Not all applicants will be invited for an interview. We will contact you directly if you are selected for an interview.

Status during assessment
You will not be able to get a status of your application during the assessment.

All applicants will get a reply sent to the email address stated in the application. See deadlines to the left of this text.
If the deadline for reply has passed and you have not heard from us please check your spam filter for our email before contacting the PhD administration. Some mail programmes consider emails sent from the application facility as spam.

Feedback after rejection
We do not offer to give you a more comprehensive feedback (incl. suggestions for improvement) than the assessment written in our email. The assessment may be positive but since there are more qualified candidates than available fellowships/scholarships we cannot accept all qualified applicants.
