Transport within Denmark
You are asked to arrange the necessary transport yourself. Graduate School, Arts will reimburse your expenses afterwards.

• The cheapest form must be used (public transport).
• Taxi rides are usually only granted due to health-related problems. The taxi ride must be approved by the Graduate School, Arts before it takes place.

Important information regarding public transport
Always remember to buy your ticket before getting on the bus, train, metro etc. It is not possible to buy a ticket afterwards. This applies for all operators of public transport.

How to plan your journey
To plan your journey, we recommend that you use the online journey planner Rejseplanen or Google Maps in app form.

• Type in departure and arrival station, stop or address. Enter the date and time of departure or arrival. Press 'Find journey'. Rejseplanen will show you a list of transportation possibilities that match your request.

Public transport in Aarhus
Public transport in Aarhus is operated by midttrafik.

You can buy a day ticket for unlimited travel throughout Aarhus.

Transport from and to Copenhagen Airport
If you are flying to Copenhagen Airport you have different options getting to Aarhus.

Some of the most used options are train and bus.

• Train: You can buy a ticket online here or near the train station which are located in Terminal 3.
• Bus: You can use the company Flixbus. Tickets can be booked here.
• Domestic flights are also an opportunity but have in mind that the nearest airport to Aarhus is 1 hour away.
