Forårssemestret 2019: Formålet med kurset er at: A) få en mulighed for at fordybe sig i analyser og diskussioner af eget og andres kvalitative empiriske materiale. B) Derigennem skærpe sine analytiske, metodiske og videnskabsteoretiske viden og færdigheder. C) Få indblik i, at metode vedrører alle faser i et forskningsprojekt – fra indledende spørgsmål og design til datagenerering og analyse. D) Og derigennem blive trænet til at gennemføre et sammenhængende argument.

Machine Feeling
14 January - 2 February 2019: The workshop aims to provide a forum for emerging researchers to enter into speculation, critique, exchange, and dialog about their research topic. The primary focus is on the participants’ individual research projects, as well fostering networks, knowledge exchange and widening dissemination. Although it is primarily aimed at international PhD researchers, the workshop is also open to artists, curators, and programmers who are pursuing research outside an academic context.

Theology and Philosophy and Organization Studies
12 - 14 December 2018: The aim of this course is to explore a variety of relationships between theology/philosophy and (critical) management studies. It uses various context and concepts to explore these relations: management, financialization, hope, profanation, dignity and leadership. All this in order to enable students in humanities to translate their work to non-academic work contexts, and to enable students in management to recognize and analyse the theological or philosophical backgrounds to organizational practices.

Masterclass and seminar with Prof. Alexandra Walsham
12 - 13 December 2018: Junior scholars (PhD students/postdoc fellows/assistant professors) are invited to submit proposals concerning their ongoing or future projects for a masterclass and a roundtable discussion conducted by Alexandra Walsham (Cambridge University). The intention is to discuss and improve the individual research questions, as well as considering general methodological issues.
