Motivations- og behovspsykologi iflg. Deci og Ryans selvbestemmelsesteori
4 - 6 March 2019: De studerende vil tilegne sig empirisk gennemtestede teorier for, hvad der motiverer mennesker til at handle - og undlade at handle - i familen, skole, arbejde, levevis. De studerende vil stifte bekendtskab med SDTs begreber, forskningsinstrumenter og interventionsredskaber, således at de bedre kan bruge dem i deres forskning og professionelle praksis. Kurset tilbyder således et solidt forskningsbaseret bud på et menneskesyn, der stiller krav til den sociale og organisatoriske kontekst og specificerer, hvilke former for behovsstøtte den skal yde - med henblik på institutionel og organisatorisk reform.

Generalization and self-presentation: Visual Methods and other models in, of and for practices
19 - 22 February 2019: The students will get indsight to how to re-present their research and reflect on implications (legitimacy, purposes, forms, effects, ethics) of both research and self-presentation. They will be able to use theories of knowledge to discuss questions of generalization within various research practices, as well as discussing similarities and differences to other (research) practices, as well as the practices they do research with.

At søge aktindsigt
18 February 2019: Kurset er en tre timers workshop i at søge aktindsigt. Ph.d.-studerende, som beskæftiger sig med samtidige problematikker, har ofte brug for materiale, som endnu ikke er bragt ud i offentligheden; dokumenter fra forvaltningsmyndigheder, som ingen har fundet interesse for, eller dokumenter som stadig er under administrativ sagsbehandling. Igennem tre timers oplæg, diskussion og øvelser undervises der i hvordan man søger aktindsigt samt hvornår det kan være relevant at gøre, hvordan man behandler de dokumenter og oplysninger man får og hvilke juridiske forpligtelser der følger med.

Writing for Journals in the fields of Art, Literature and Cultural Studies (Workshop series)
13 February - 13 March 2019: The series of workshops is about getting bet-ter at writing articles aimed at specific academic journals. In a two stage process we first discus existing articles from specific journals as selected by the participants, then discus the participants’ ongoing work, aimed at publication in these journals.

Hermeneutics, phenomenology, structuralism, social constructivism, post-modernism Explanation and understanding, actor-structure, relation to methodologies in the human and social sciences and recent debates surrounding these such as about evidence and the social function of these scientific disciplines.

Forårssemestret 2019: Formålet med kurset er at: A) få en mulighed for at fordybe sig i analyser og diskussioner af eget og andres kvalitative empiriske materiale. B) Derigennem skærpe sine analytiske, metodiske og videnskabsteoretiske viden og færdigheder. C) Få indblik i, at metode vedrører alle faser i et forskningsprojekt – fra indledende spørgsmål og design til datagenerering og analyse. Fieldwork and psychological wellbeing
15 January 2019: In addition to positive stories from the field, with this Ph.D. course we wish to address other important aspects of the fieldwork experience among young researchers and allow for an open conversation about the at times difficult, personally changing and boring parts of fieldwork.
